This Privacy Policy applies to thattravelerguy.com and all associated SMS/text message communications from That Traveler Guy™, operated through TTG Global Consulting (“we”, “us”).

TTG Global Consulting does not share mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

By contacting us via SMS at (619) 853-4060 with your mobile number, you consent to receive customer care text messages in reply. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies (up to 4 messages per month). Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time.

1. Information we collect

• Inquiry details you send: your name, email, brand or organization, the services you are interested in, project details, optional budget and currency, optional key dates, and your language preference.
• Mobile phone number (optional): used to reply to your inquiry. It is used for text messages only when you check the SMS consent box.
• SMS consent record: whether you opted in, the date and time, and the consent wording shown to you.
• Aggregate site activity: anonymous daily counts such as page views, section visits, portfolio opens, media kit and rate card downloads, and inquiry steps. These counts are not linked to your name, email, phone or brief.
• Technical data: your IP address is used briefly, in hashed form, to limit abusive form submissions. Your language choice is saved in your own browser.
• Anything else you choose to send us by email, text or WhatsApp.

Replies to your inquiry and project coordination, travel tips, destination inspiration, content updates, event announcements and occasional offers.

Message frequency

You may receive up to 4 messages per month, though frequency may be higher during special travel campaigns, events or time-sensitive offers, or while we coordinate an active project with you.

How to opt out

You may cancel SMS communications at any time by replying with any of the following keywords:

• UNSUBSCRIBE

You may also opt out by emailing info@thattravelerguy.com with “STOP SMS” in the subject line. All opt-out requests will be honored promptly and within no more than 10 business days. After you opt out, you may receive one final message confirming the opt-out.

No sharing of mobile information

Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS communications will not be shared, sold, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent obtained through this website is specific to That Traveler Guy™ only.

3. How we use your information

• To read, reply to and prepare a proposal for your inquiry.
• To send text messages, only if you opted in.
• To operate, secure and improve the website using aggregate activity counts.
• To keep records required by law, such as SMS consent records.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not build a persistent visitor profile. It records anonymous, aggregate activity counts for the most recent 90 days. These are interactions, not unique people. Activity counting is switched off when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

5. Third-party services

• Instagram: example videos load from Instagram only when you choose to play them.
• WhatsApp: the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp (Meta) only when you choose it. Messages you send there are subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
• Hosting and messaging providers: our website host stores inquiries securely, and SMS aggregators and providers deliver text messages on our behalf.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver a project and meet legal obligations. SMS opt-in records are retained for a minimum of 4 years to meet TCPA recordkeeping requirements. Aggregate activity counts are kept for 90 days. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

• Correct or delete your personal information
• Opt out of SMS and email marketing communications at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. Children’s privacy

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with an updated date. If you are enrolled in our SMS program and we make material changes, we will notify you via text message.
