1. Acceptance of terms

By using thattravelerguy.com or opting into our SMS program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this site and do not opt into SMS communications.

2. SMS / text message program

Program description

That Traveler Guy™ operates an SMS messaging program to reply to project inquiries and to share travel tips, destination inspiration, exclusive deals, content updates and community announcements. Messages are sent only to subscribers who have opted in.

How to opt in

Enter your mobile number in a form on this website and check the SMS consent box. By doing so, you provide prior express written consent to receive recurring automated and non-automated marketing and informational text messages from That Traveler Guy™ at the number provided. You may also text us at (619) 853-4060 to receive customer care replies.

Consent is not a condition of purchase

You are never required to opt into SMS communications to purchase, access content, send an inquiry or use our services.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 4 messages per month, and frequency may increase during special campaigns, time-sensitive offers or an active project.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. That Traveler Guy™ is not responsible for carrier charges.

How to opt out

Reply STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or END to any message, or email info@thattravelerguy.com with “STOP SMS” in the subject line. All opt-out requests will be honored promptly and within no more than 10 business days.

Supported carriers

Supported carriers include major U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS and U.S. Cellular. Carrier support may vary. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

3. Content scope and prohibited topics

All SMS communications from That Traveler Guy™ are strictly limited to travel-related content and to your project inquiry. That Traveler Guy™ does not and will not send SMS messages related to adult content, hate speech, alcohol promotion, firearms, or tobacco, cannabis or vaping products.

4. Website use and intellectual property

You agree to use thattravelerguy.com for lawful purposes only. You may not use this site to transmit harmful, offensive or misleading content, to submit false inquiries, or to interfere with its operation.

All content on this website, including text, photography, video, itineraries, travel guides, the media kit and the rate card, is the intellectual property of That Traveler Guy™ unless otherwise noted. Brand names and trademarks shown in the portfolio belong to their owners and appear to describe past collaborations. You may not reproduce or republish our content without written permission.

5. Creator services and proposals

Information on this site, in the media kit and in the rate card describes our services and is not a binding offer. A project is confirmed only by a written proposal or agreement that sets out deliverables, fees, timing, usage rights, exclusivity and travel arrangements. Rate card prices are in U.S. dollars and valid for the period stated on the rate card. Content licensing (channels, territory, duration and paid advertising use) is defined in each proposal.

6. Affiliate links and third-party content

Some links on this site or in our content may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission on purchases made through these links at no additional cost to you.
